Kenmei Ryu Kempo

Kenmei Ryu Kempo can freely be translated from Japanese and means:

"The wise mans way is the strong mans way of the fist".

The main aim of kenmei Ryu kempo is to develop a humble and polite attitude in general. In Kenmei Ryu Kempo we do not have any competions or any other comparisons between the students. Everey student shall develop in their own tempo to be a skilled Kempoka. In other words, the school forms it's training after the individual and his abilities. A Kempoka who is training with us shall in a very close future be able to defend him self after a short while. With defend, we mean both with words and in action against one or several persons.

The techniques we use in Kenmei Ryu kempo are in general the same techniques in traditional Karate, Jujutsu and Judo. We do also have some techniques from modern Martail Arts as Tai boxing, Kick boxing etc. just to adjust Kenmei Ryu kempo to the special times we live in today.

Kobujutsu.

For those students who are advanced, can also train Kobujutsu. The weapons we usually use are different kinds of poles as Jo, Tanbo, Hanbo, Bo but also tonfa, tanto and bokken etc.
